What we collect
Site analytics — anonymized visit data (page views, referrers, broad geographic region, device type) — collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cross-site cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. Newsletter subscriptions store the email you provide along with the date of subscription.
When you contact us via email or one of the forms on this site, we retain the message and your email address for the purpose of replying and maintaining a record of correspondence.
How we use it
Analytics inform editorial decisions (which categories to expand, which articles need updating). Newsletter emails are used solely to deliver the newsletter you opted into. Contact email is used to reply to your inquiry.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or transfer it to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to train AI models.
How we store it
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by our hosting provider (Vercel) and our newsletter provider. Both providers are contractually bound to keep data confidential and encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain newsletter subscribers' data until they unsubscribe; correspondence data is retained for up to 24 months and then deleted unless an active editorial relationship requires longer retention.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, or request deletion. Email privacy@enterprisesoftwarereview.com and we will respond within 30 days. To unsubscribe from the newsletter, click the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email — no email to us required.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
